Welcome to Carbon 111!

I’m just a basic writer, you know the type:

  • Introverted
  • Sends long text messages
  • Writes long emails
  • Daydreams
  • Reads almost everything
  • Has more journals than space to store
  • Gets mad if anyone steals their pens
  • And I’m getting old.

So here I am – a carbon dated copywriter with a soul the age of 111 years and lots to talk about.

I’m not the type to give advice a lot, so I really just want to play around here.

My career has consisted of many words and gets a little boring at times.

This is my fun world to blog about the things that come across my mind in the copywriting world.

But not just that, I simply love writing!

If there’s a white space and I can write on it, I will fill it with words.

I write for fun, and I write for money.

I have written with confidence, and I have written with total fear.

A decorated office with a desk with flowers and a copper lamp. It has an open notebook with shelfs surrounding with books and decorations.

That’s why I am here putting even more words out on the Internet.

I don’t want beginner writers or even seasoned writers just getting into copywriting as a career to have any doubt in their skills.

Too many blogs I’ve read made me feel less than when it came to my voice.

These authors told me I need to do this, and do that, and not do this or that.

So what if I use the word “and” to start a sentence?

That’s how I talk!

That’s how we all talk, I think.

That’s how I write and I imagine that’s how you read better.

The last thing you need is another person implying your own voice and writing style isn’t enough.

No more.

That stops here, in my world.

A girl opening her mouth with speech bubbles coming out in different colors like blue, green, red and yellow.

Stick around.

Read a blog or two.

I’ll try to keep them coming, but I don’t really have a schedule of when I post.

I just do it when the moment strikes!

That may be timely, or it may just come when it comes.

And I’d like to thank you for being here today.

I hope my writing inspires you to start a blog or to keep your current one going.

Don’t be discouraged.

You have things to say and people out there do want to read them.

You’re enough.

Trust that you’ll learn along the way.

I’m still learning and I’ve done this for a long time.

I’ve written about almost every topic possible, but the joy of writing is my favorite topic.

So go grab your fancy pen!

I know you have one.

And take notes!

You know you’ve got a storage of journals.
